The aim of the work is to review causes or a rise of hot and cold cracks and elimination of their occurrence and the inter-crystalline and inter-granular course in a welded joint. Based on the experiment their occurrence will be evaluated by particular material structures of selected aluminum alloys. Based on the analysis a chemical composition of additive materials, consumables, shielding gases and welding technological processes can then be modified, including welding current waveforms and its pulses. In both cases of welding we will deal with such technological procedures allowing also welding of aluminum alloys of an uneven composition and different affinities.
