Assesment methods :
During the semester will be the presentation of the seminar work realized as the methodology of the own final thesis per 40 points and the final writing exam per 60 points. Student can get grade A (excellent) after obtaining at least 93 points, grade B (very good) at least 86 points, grade C (good) at least 79 points, grade D (satisfactory) at least 72 points and grade E (sufficient) at least 64 points.
Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will obtain knowledge about methods of measurements which are used for physical parameters measurements. After finishing of the subject student can evaluate experimental methods and experimental results. He will be able to select the convenient measurement method for measurement of physical parameters.
After completion of the subject the graduate is able to apply knowledge in practice, absolvent is able to choose the optimal measurement technique, analyse the measurement accuracy and interpret the measurement results.
Course contents:
Experiment and methodology. Methods of physical quantities measurement. Physical methods for the experiment evaluation. Mathematical methods of experiment evaluation. Statistical methods of experiment evaluation.
