Assesment methods :
Elaboration and presentation of seminar work - 40 points, final written exam - 60 points. To gain grade A (excellent) it is required at least 93 points, grade B (very good) at least 86 points, grade C (good) at least 79 points, grade D (satisfactory) at least 72 points and grade E (sufficient) at least 64 points.
Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will obtain some new knowledges about properties of agricultural materials. Students will be able to use obtained knowledges during the next study and research. After finishing of the subject student will know methods of research work.
Course contents:
Extended knowledge of plant materials dimensional characteristics, plant tissues mechanical properties and measurement methods in relation to the processing technology. Overview and analysis of physical properties of fruit, vegetable, cereals etc. Physical principles of physiological processes in the plants. Measurement methods in the agrophysics. Methods of experimental data processing in the agrophysics.
