Assesment methods :
Elaboration and the prezentation of the project per 40 points and the final writing exam per 60 points. Evaluation A needs to gain at least 93 points, evaluation B needs to gain at least 86 points, evaluation C at least 79 points, evaluation D at least 72 points and evaluation E at least 64 points.
Objectives and learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will achieve new knowledge about processing of image and of computer methods of image processing. He is able to apply the theory and the methods in practice by means of the softwares ImageJ on the platforms MS Windows and Linux. After completion of the subject is able to apply knowledge about processing of image, absolvent is able to use optimal processing methods and use the convenient software on image processing.

Course contents:
Digitalization of image information. Geometric transformation of image. Compression of image. Methods of suppression of perturbation and noise. Reconstruction of image. Analysis of image. Image formats. Technical instruments of image information processing.
